Qualifications

Her first memory of hearing and seeing was at three years of age. Primed psychically on both sides of the family, her abilities can be traced back six generations on her maternal side and three to four generations on her paternal side. Together, both mom and dad’s family immersed her in traditions that would serve her well on her journey. With their strong guidance and loving support she would embrace her calling with all the dedication and support she’d need to serve others. Outside the family, she apprenticed for eleven years, receiving Shamanic training. Today she benefits from the blending of both her training and her tradition. She’s certified as a MenChho Reiki Master and Emotional Freedom Technique Advance practitioner and has been an ordained non-denominational minister registered with her state since 1993. In 2006, she furthered her spiritual studies, completing her Ph.D. in 2006. Her paternal great grandmother was known as the local Granny woman who lived on the Appalachian Trail. She taught her about herbs, little people, and keeping secrets. RosaPearl also dipped deeply into her grandfather’s well of knowledge regarding the elements and her father shared his expertise on the art of dowsing. Childhood memories include weekends of family gatherings consisting of music, learning and teaching. Her maternal great grandmother steeped her in native knowledge and her grandmother taught her the ways of the Great Mystery. A firm believer that one must give in order to receive, RosaPearl had fine examples to follow, including a mother whom she describes as “a knower.” Her mother’s side was extremely well-traveled and always interesting. Her granny, grandma and great aunt would often travel between their family in Florida and their northern home, where RosaPearl currently resides. In a nutshell, her family’s traditional roots are Native and Appalachian and it’s with equal fondness for both sides of her family that she revels in “the glory of being raised a mixed-blood or Metis.”

Experience

After she returned home from the Navy, RosaPearl wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. With four daughters under the age of twelve and two of those four in diapers, she started a hub for PRN and worked several other phone lines as well. During that time, she owned and ran two metaphysical book stores where she gave readings, performed energy work and offered workshops. Her third store was a family project. By that time, her girls were older and they all worked there with the grandkids watching videos behind the counter. Now, the yearly powwow gatherings are a family affair. Having worked as a professional psychic for the past sixteen years, she began her practice by offering her services at psychic fairs and providing readings in various metaphysical shops. She then moved on to a private clientele. After her apprenticeship, she taught students her traditional ways and hosted semi-yearly retreats in her father’s lodge (tipi). After she was introduced to a Shaman of Jewish descent, she became a member of The Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Her popularity increased and celebrities sought her talents. Some of them have included various musicians, a pop artist, authors, songwriters and an executive at Sony.

Personal

She’s a Libra born within two days of her father. Currently, she lives in southwestern Ohio and longs for the warmer climates she experienced while in the military. She returned home the Halloween after the highways buckled in California to find her front yard cracked wide open. They were lucky that there were no casualties in the neighborhood. Upon arriving in Ohio, she and her high school sweetheart renewed their friendship and moved in together. A couple of years later, they married and expanded their family with her two youngest daughters. The four girls began rescuing animals. They now have six cats and three dogs in all. Two of the cats are healers and when you have a headache or don’t feel well, they will sit on you until you’re feeling better and off they go. The dogs are equally as talented. Casper is a white German Shepherd trained to be a caretaker of someone with epilepsy, although his hip problems forced him to retire early. He has regular visits to the doggy chiropractor and he is improving steadily. Sissy, the Rottweiler and Chihuaha, often talks to the family. Hunter the Beagle is blissfully as dumb as doornails and has no sense of being a Beagle. The only thing he’s interested in is sniffing and/or eating the family’s food.
